Description
What you're about to hear is a powerful dramatization of a frightening reality experienced daily by millions of people with schizophrenia- a world of strange, distracting, and inescapable voices called auditory hallucinations. While auditory hallucinations arise from within, the person with schizophrenia experiences them as if actually "hearing" the voices of others. It is virtually impossible for people with schizophrenia to function until appropriate treatment controls these hallucinations. Through this demonstration, we hope to encourage a more empathetic and compassionate view toward the many people struggling to recover from this devastating illness.
